DEPLOYMENT ZONE INDEX
Sectors

SECTOR 01
Orbital and Earth-Adjacent Operations
Low Earth Orbit is the industrial park of the interstellar economy. Stations, shipyards, debris management, and the traffic control layer that keeps eleven thousand tracked objects from becoming eleven million. Every deep space career starts with an orbital rotation.

SECTOR 02
Lunar and Martian Settlements
The first permanent offworld civilian populations. Luna is industry: mass drivers, helium-3, telescope farms on the far side. Mars is homesteading: pressurized agriculture, water extraction, and the first generation of children who will call Earth the old country.

SECTOR 03
Deep Space Vessels
Crewed vessels operating beyond the Mars orbital line: fusion-torch freighters on the Jupiter run, science vessels at Saturn, and the long-haul lines that make the outer system an economy instead of an outpost.

SECTOR 04
Mothership and Generation Vessel Operations
Kilometer-class vessels designed for decade and century missions: carrier motherships deploying smaller craft, and generation ships where the crew roster includes people not yet born. These are not ships. They are civilizations with engines.

SECTOR 05
Colony Worlds and Terraforming
Beyond Sol: the survey, seeding, and settlement of worlds that will not be ready for a hundred years, and the professionals who plant flags they will never see fly.

SECTOR 06
Xenodiplomacy and First Contact Readiness
The Authority maintains a standing professional corps for the scenario every 2026 poll shows the public expects: contact. Linguistics, protocol, law, and containment, staffed and drilled before they are needed, because afterward is too late.

SECTOR 07
The Disclosure Sector (UAP Analysis)
The only sector recruiting for work that is already happening. Governments released three tranches of UAP files in 2026 and 40 percent of analyzed phenomena remain unresolved. Someone has to do the resolution.

SECTOR 08
Systems, Law, and AI Governance
The invisible professions that make the rest possible: the AI systems that fly the ships, the law that governs three-planet contracts, and the people who keep both aligned with the humans they serve.

SECTOR 09
Robotics and Autonomous Systems
Every offworld operation runs on a mixed workforce: humans, and the machines that outnumber them forty to one. This sector staffs both sides of that ratio: the engineers who build autonomous systems, and the fast-growing profession nobody predicted, the humans whose entire job is watching the machines.
